Introducing the new blog!

We can’t wait to start sharing more with our users

Hello writers, readers, spontaneous creatives. Orton has been going through a lot of preparation and planning for the next year, and we have some exciting stuff coming up.

As well as improving the platform and shipping new features to enhance your experience, we have been working hard to plan our vision for the platform. We are still driving forward into making this writer's platform not only the best spot to share your stories, poems and other literature; but also where you can grow as a writer, and feel a part of something special.

The first change we hope you have already noticed is this new blog, revitalised and ready for us to shout and share what we are doing behind the scenes. After all, we want this to be a community platform, so it's only fair that you the community hear about all the exciting work we have upcoming.

We plan on being as transparent as possible with our vision and direction. We will also want your continuous feedback and input into how we move forward. This new blog is a small piece of a larger puzzle which will enhance our communication with you all. All things worth announcing will be. Small feature releases, feature roadmaps, celebrations, milestones, content about our team members and much more. We'll send you a cheeky email as well, just to notify you of any new content, so you can hear all about our important announcements.

We want to hit the ground running with this blog, that's why straight away we are going to start two new blog series. The first being an intro to the amazing people working at Orton. The second, a new tutorial series, with a mix of different subjects from, how to use particular features (so you can get the most out of the tools Orton has available); to tips on writing comedy horror short stories (including professional advice from experienced writers).

For now, all we ask from you is continue with your incredible support. We wouldn’t be where we are today if it wasn’t for the huge interest you show and the effort you have provided us. Keep posting and engaging on Orton and before we know it, it will be the number one community for sharing stories and discovering authors online.
